DentalSave™, a low cost alternative to the rising expenses of traditional dental plans, was founded in 1981 by Dr. Bruce Sherman as Northeast Southeast Dental Plan.
Dr. Sherman applied his experience as a practicing dentist, faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry and Dental Director for two health care organizations to design an accessible and affordable dental program.

We changed our company name to DentalSave™ in 2008 to better reflect our mission of savings to a broader audience.
Our new name comes from our ongoing commitment to save members money on premium dental care with product and service innovations.
