Using Care Credit @ The Dental Office

Need help with financing your dental payments, check out CareCredit. CareCredit is a health, wellness and beauty credit card that can be used at more than 175,000 health practices for yourself, family and even your pets.  When you go to the dental office ask if they take CareCredit.  If they do, you can ask to apply for it at the dental office and you would be able to use it to pay off your balance. There is no interest on purchases of $200-$999 if paid off within a 6-12 month payment plan. For amounts of $1000 and up there is a 14.90% APR and fixed monthly payments are required.

CareCredit can be used in conjunction with your DentalSave plan since it does not replace the cost of dental procedures but rather provides the resource to help you pay for it with low monthly payments.  It differs from just using a credit card since it does provide the special financing options that you can’t get with other credit cards. As with any credit card make sure that you will be able to make payments at the later date and handle it responsibly.
