Maintaining our oral health is important. Unlike other medical costs, dental costs are costly. Dental Insurance New Jersey got you covered.

Eligibility

Dental Insurance New Jersey covers families and individuals by offering dental services at a discounted price.

Dental Insurance New Jersey Plan

There are five different and affordable dental insurance covers provided by ten major providers. Different coverage plans have various conditions and modes of payment.

Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) fall under managed care. Subscribers have the freedom to choose their preferred dentist. DHMO beneficiaries pay an annual or monthly fee which allows them to seek dental care at reduced costs. PPO beneficiaries pay a certain percentage of the reduced costs.

Indemnity or traditional plan allows clients to choose their dentist without a referral. However, the dentist offers the fee schedule.

Discount Dental Plans (DDP)

DDP allows clients to pick their desired dentists and receive unlimited dental care at discounted prices. Beneficiaries pay an annual and enrollment fee, and no paperwork is involved. Sometimes, the patients pay the entire amount if the service is not covered. DentalSave falls under discount dental plans and helps patients save 20-25 % of the dental costs. It is easy to sign up as no paperwork is required.

Additional services

There is insurance coverage for additional services such as prescription drugs, hearing, and vision care. Hearing and vision care cover eye/ear care and eye/ear wear. Also, there are discounted prices for certain prescription drugs under the insurance coverage.
